It is known that the Telugu Desam Party has announced that they are not contesting the coming elections in Telangana. The decision was taken by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and the same will come to implementation in the coming polls in Telangana.
In this context, the latest development is that T-TDP chief Kasani Gnaneshwar has left the party effective immediately.
Kasani first tried to explain to the TDP troops in Telangana that it was the decision taken by CBN to stay away from the polls in Telangana and he had nothing to do with it. But the cadre rebelled against it and Kasani came under the radar.
Kasani revealed that he even tried calling Nara Lokesh 20 times about contesting in the Telangana elections but the latter didn't pick the call.
In the end, the veteran TDP leader has decided to quit the party and he submitted a resigantion to this effect.
There are reports that Kasani could be joining in the BRS party sooner or later and hope to be active in the coming elections in the state.
