The Tollywood box office saw off September on a rather dry note as the month closed on a disaster level with all the new films tanking like anything at the ticket counters.
First, Ram's Skanda had a moderately good start at the box office but it quickly died down and had a disaster run at the ticket counters. It is heading for disaster status at the box office.
And then, we have Chandramukhi 2 which turned out to be another mega disaster in terms of box office returns. This film was a mega dud at the box office and it didn't get even minimum accreditation from the Telugu audience.
Same with Pedda Kapu which was projected as Srikanth Addala masterpiece, but eventually bombed at the box office. The film was sold for Rs 13 crores and it hasn't even managed to collect Rs 50 lakh at the box office.
On a whole, the Tollywood box office has closed on a disaster note with not a single new film attracting the audience.
