Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha's love comedy Kushi released in theaters on the 1st of September. After a bright start at the box office, the film slowed down and continued to cool down in box office terms. As a result, it ended up as a loss venture in the Ceded region.
Coming to the OTT aspect of the film, it has sealed Netflix as its official post theatrical OTT streaming partner.
Netflix has acquired the all-langauge OTT rights of the film and they have whipped out a whopping amount of money for the same. The latest we hear is that the film has sealed its official OTT release date.
The film will apparently be made available for streaming on Netflix from the 6th of October. The same will be officially confirmed by the OTT giant in a few days from now. It will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi on Netflix from the mentioned date.
This means that the film is getting a standard 5-week OTT release following its theatrical release.
