Telugu Desam Party and Janasena are confirmed to contest together in Andhra Pradesh elections, as was announced by JanaSena supremo Pawan Kalyan a short while ago.
But this brings us to the real question - How many seats will JanaSena get in the alliance seat distribution?
There are media reports from TDP-inclined media that the early plan is to give 28 MLA seats to JanaSena. The party will be given the tickets mainly in the Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh.
If BJP is also given a stake in the alliance, then they too will walking away with a few seats. This could further intensify the numbers game in the alliance. Same with CPI and CPM.
For now, the seats distribution aspect has become a hot topic with the announcement of the alliance and we have to see how things unfold in the near future.
