2018 is based on the horrific 2018 Kerala floods and the film has Malayalam stars like Tovino Thomas, Vineeth Srinivasan and others in the lead roles. It was a smashing success in the native Kerala market.
Now, the latest news is that the film is headed for its OTT premieres and here is an interesting update in this context.
The post theatrical rights of 2018 are with Sony Liv and the film will be made available for streaming in multiple languages on the OTT platform from the 7th of June.
