Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is back, this time with a mystical thriller titled Virupaksha that appears to be a content-driven film rather than a commercial entertainer.
The teaser of the film dropped a little while ago and it showcases that the Sai Dharam Tej starrrer is a mystical thriller.
The teaser starts with the establishment of the basic premise of a rural backdrop with the narrative revolving around village belief systems and the folklore activities in the rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.
Sai Dharam Tej's character is destined to be the one that finds the solution to this problem and save the rural population from this mysterious occurrence.
The visuals and the background score look good in the teaser and they elevate the narrative with the technical finesse.
Sai, who had mostly been doing commercial films, is now back with a content oriented film and this should serve him well if executed well. He is at least attempting something on these lines to match the tastes of the modern day audience.
The film is directed by newcomer Karthik Dandu and produced by SVCC Creations. It is up for release soon.
