Sony Liv has been looking for the right Telugu film that can expand their footprint in the Telugu OTT space and they’ve done the same with Akhil’s Agent now.
The post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of Agent are apparently acquired by Sony Liv for a fancy price.
Agent is up for release on the 28th of April and it is one of the costliest projects in Akhil’s career thus far and the stakes are high on the same.
This is said to be one of the costliest acquisitions of Sony Liv in the Telugu OTT space and they’re pinning a lot of hopes on the same.
The action thriller has Akhil, Sakshi Vaidya, Mammootty in the lead roles. It is directed by Surender Reddy and funded by AK Entertainments.
