Nandamuri Balakrishna’s recent theatrical outing Veera Simha Reddy has locked its OTT release date. The film’s official OTT streaming partner Disney+ Hotstar has announced that the film will stream on the platform from the 23rd of this month.
However, there’s still no official word on when Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya might start to stream on OTT.
There are unverified reports that the film could be streaming on Netflix from the 27th of this month but there’s still no official announcement on the same.
Disney+ Hotstar has already released a new OTT exclusive teaser of Veera Simha Reddy and publicizing the arrival of the film. But on the other hand, there’s still no word on Waltair Veerayya’s OTT release.
Waltair Veerayya had a dream-like run in the theaters this Sankranthi season and the right time to release it in theaters is right now, when the hype surrounding the same is on a high. As it appears, Netflix is missing this trick.
