Tollywood has lost another gem of a person and veteran actress Jamuna. The renowned veteran actress passed away in the wee hours of 27th January and the same was confirmed by her family a short while ago.
Jamuna, 86, had been suffering from a few health complications and she sadly succumbed to the same and passed away in the early hours of 27 January.
Jamuna comes from a Telugu household. Her father is Srinivasa Rao and her mother is Kausalya Devi. She was born into a Guntut family and did her schooling there.
Of late, Jamuna had been suffering from a few health problems and she sadly succumbed to them today. Tollywood is now mourning the passing of this senior actress who is regarded as one of the finest performers ever in Telugu cinema.
Jamuna's final rites are likely to be held by the end of the day today or early tomorrow. Her family will be officially announcing the same soon.
In her prime, Jamuna acted in hundreds of films and starred alongside NTR, ANR, SVR, and Krishna. She acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films.
