The Oscars nominations are officially out and RRR has made its way onto the same in one category. RRR's Naatu Naatu has made its entry into the list of nominations for the Best Original Song category.
But the issue here is with the Indian Film Federation which picked a random Chhello Show over RRR for the best international film category.
Chhello Show is Indian Film Federation's entry for the Oscars and this was above RRR. While in reality, RRR always stood the better chance at the Oscars and this Chhello Show is completely insignificant at the mighty Oscars.
Had RRR gone in as India's official entry for the Oscars in the Best International Film category, the film would've stood a very good chance.
But the Federation sadly picked Chhello Show over RRR, much to the amusement of everyone. The common opinion on social media is that RRR should've been India's official entry for the Oscars and not Chhello Show.
The Oscars will be held on the 12th of March and the entire nation will be looking forward to the same as RRR's Naatu Naatu is India's only ray of hope at the same.
