What inspired you to create 'Court'?
The inspiration came from real-life cases I researched about the POCSO Act. After hearing about an incident that shocked me, I explored similar cases in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The sheer number of cases inspired me to tell a story that highlights these social issues. Though the film is fictional, it's deeply influenced by real-life events.

Why did you decide to blend a love story with a courtroom drama?
While courtroom dramas are common, combining it with a love story felt fresh and relatable. The emotional depth of a love story adds a new layer to the tension in the courtroom scenes. This combination makes the film more engaging and powerful for audiences.

How did you prepare for the courtroom sequences and legal accuracy in the film?
I conducted extensive research on legal procedures, court processes, and the POCSO Act. I consulted legal experts, police officers, and studied multiple real-life cases to ensure authenticity. My goal was to present a courtroom drama that feels real without sensationalism.

What was Nani’s reaction when you narrated the story to him?
Narrating the story to Nani was a memorable experience. After waiting nearly eight months to meet him, I finally got a chance to narrate the complete story. Nani listened for two and a half hours without interruption. Afterward, he shook my hand and said, "Welcome to Wall Poster Cinema." That was one of the proudest moments of my life.

What makes Priyadarshi’s role special in 'Court'?
Priyadarshi plays the role of Lawyer Suryateja. When I first shared the idea with him, he immediately agreed to do the film. His ability to balance humor, emotion, and intensity made him perfect for this role. Priyadarshi’s clarity in dialogue delivery and deep understanding of his character brings authenticity to the film.

How did you choose Roshan and Sridevi for their roles?
Roshan, who plays Chandu, showed incredible dedication. His silent yet emotionally powerful performance in the second half makes a huge impact.
For the role of Jabili, I wanted someone fresh yet relatable. After an extensive search, I found Sridevi through her Instagram reels. She perfectly matched the character's innocence and emotional depth.

Shivaji’s role as Mangapati is intense. How did you prepare him for the role?
Shivaji’s character represents someone we often see in families — a respected yet controlling figure. Shivaji’s powerful screen presence and strong dialogue delivery made him ideal for this role. He lived the character of Mangapati, adding realism to every scene.

What message do you want the audience to take from 'Court'?
I believe 'Court' is more than just a film — it’s a reflection of our lives. The movie highlights important social issues, particularly the lack of awareness about the POCSO Act. Audiences will connect deeply with the characters and recognize the importance of protecting truth and justice.

How do you feel about Nani’s confidence in the film’s success?
After watching the final cut, Nani said, "Proud of you, Jagadish!" That was the best compliment I’ve ever received. His confidence in the film gave the entire team an incredible boost.
