Hansika Motwani, born on 9 August 1991, is a versatile Indian actress who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu films. She started her career in the entertainment industry as a child actor in popular Hindi films and television shows, quickly gaining attention for her screen presence and talent.
Hansika made her Telugu debut as a lead actress in Desamuduru (2007), which brought her into the limelight. She followed it with other successful Telugu films like Kantri (2008) and Maska (2009).
Her Tamil cinema debut came with Mappillai (2011), after which she featured in numerous commercially successful Tamil films such as Engeyum Kadhal, Velayudham, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Singam II, and Aranmanai.
